Free Oscar Daniel Leon Luviano

Free Oscar Daniel Leon Luviano
The Issue
Oscar was brought to the United States when he was only ten years old. He was brought to this country in the hopes of getting a better future. He attended Medowcreek High School in Norcross, Georgia and graduated in 2004.
When family and friends found out about Oscar’s detention, they quickly offered to help in any way possible. Soon they came to the realization that the immigration system is broken and there wasn’t much that could possibly be done. Many of these friends have written letters to people in Washington and have tried to convince Judge Harrington to give Oscar an ICE bond. Judge Harrington has denied bond multiple times, but Oscar has no immediate family back in Mexico. If he were to be sent back, he would be going to a country that he does not know.
Oscar was pulled over for doing a u-turn where it was not permitted; he was detained and processed for deportation. This was his first incident with any authorities and all the family is asking for is a bond, so he could be released.
We urge for the support from the community, Oscar was planning on enrolling in Georgia Perimeter College. He is a liked and respected member of his community and we hope that his deportation officer will post a bond, so he could be with his family, no in a detention center.
