On the Fox Television Network there is a sitcom called Raising Hope. In the show, there is a grandmother with Alzheimer's named Maw Maw. It is not funny but insensitive and cruel. Alzheimer's is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States. There is no cure or way to prevent getting the disease. It is a 100% fatal brain disease. To make fun of someone with Alzheimer's is an insult to the 5.4 million Americans living with the death sentence from the disease.

No show would ever depict a woman with breast cancer as a situation to make fun of so why does the Fox Television Network think it is it okay to show a Maw Maw with Alzheimer's as funny. We need to tell Fox it is not okay.
