Tell me who your friends are, and I will tell you who you are.
The same feathers, flock together.
American leaders and not necessarily the American people, at least in the past over 100 years, had the tendency to forget their real friends, allies and partners. They had the tendency to help rebuild their enemies who, not in the distant past, had either deserted them or tried to destoy them. Their true great friends are left to fend for themselves, or so it seemed.
Change had come to America (or at least it will come sooner, if not later). Barack Obama had declared a number of times that he is ready to change America.
Mr President, we urge your administration to change the face of US foreign relations by declaring, from this day onwards, that "America will never, ever forget their true great friends" around the world.
Not with a lip service, we urge you and your administration to set good leadership by example and governance by inspiration to your own Democratic Party, to the Republican Party and to those in-between and on the third side, that "America - from this day onwards - will help their true great nation-friends, allies and partners" in thoughts, words and deeds.
"America will act and serve their true great friends, and be with them 'for richer, for poorer, in sickness, in health, 'till death do you part.'"
It is in the best of American interests not to forget your true great friends.
And the three to five million Filipino Americans (of Philippine, American and foreign descent) across the United States will be forever grateful and in gratitude.
{No one among the 10 million Filipinos in over 100 countries are without relatives and friends in America. No one among the 80 million Filipinos in the Philippine homeland are without friends and families in America.}
So with the many, many millions more of other ethnic origins and people of color.
So Help us God!
FORGET NOT YOUR TRUE GREAT FRIENDS
