The genetically engineered ingredients in our food have no requirements in the U.S. that GE or GMO ingrediants have to be labeled. We do not know the long term effects of this food. Our children's health could be at risk. This is also important to the farmers. Farmers should have the right to plant, purchase, and save non-GE seeds, and grow their crops without fear of GE contamination. Lack of regulation for genetic engineering violates all of these basic rights for both farmers and eaters.
