This is really important to me because ,I'm a first time felon and I can not find a job that would hire me. Some jobs say they dont go back 5yrs,But when i apply they look at my felony and tell me I can not work for them and it was 10yrs ago.. My felony was from 2001. I was 17yrs old charged as an adult. They made it seem like i was a dangerous person. I stole a car, the owner wasnt in the car he was by the trunk and my sister sprayed water downed bleach in his face. Only reason why I took the car is because the owner pushed my sister and called her a bitch. I wasnt going to take the car, I wanted to go home. I was so scared. But when the owner did that I was so mad..Mind you my sister was 15yrs old. We were young and dumb. I dont think i should of been charged with car-jacking and a deadly weapon. The deadly weapon was the windex bottle. My sister was charged as a juvenile and I was charged as an adult. They sent me to a youth offender program in prison for 2yrs and gave me 4yrs probation. They wanted me to do 16yrs. I didnt have a lawyer, my mom is disabled so she couldnt afford a lawyer. I was released on November 15, 2003.I dont think i should of went to prison for this.. I seen people do worst and they are on the streets on probation...  I want to be able to expunge my record.I want to be able to find a decent job. I WANT A SECOND CHANCE! I was convicted in 2002. Im 27yrs old and Im so depressed because I dont know what to do. I want to be able to expunge my record.. I want to be able to go to school and find a decent job. People do make mistakes! I made one. I was young and dumb and I was with the wrong people at the wrong time.. I want a sencond chance!!
