For all of the parents who fight to help our children suffering from ASD or related disorders, please sign this petition. Surely, you know someone who has a child who is Autistic. My question is: Why isn't it in the forefront of research? Why isn't it getting billions of funding. If no one will step forward to say what causes Autism, surely they have an idea (environment, genetics, vaccines, what about Chinese products laced with lead and mercury!) - Seriously, forget global warming - what about our toxic environment? 1 in 70 boys are autistic. How much worse the this statistic have to get in order to get someone's attention, Mr. Obama! Because these children are not dying, they don't look sick... what will it take to get someone's attention in Washington!  We need some brilliant, bipartisan experts, chemists, doctors, researchers, to move quickly and figure it out and then find the cure or the agent to reverse it. At least figure out what causes it so we can spare future generations....
