Before President Obama came in office he stated that he would not federally go after medical marijuana operations, since then like most things he has said, he has flip flopped on his statement, It seems in this country they would rather you pump your body full of addicting chemicals, that have many negative side effects, in turn making you go on other chemically engineered drugs to counter the effects. I think people should have an option for natural holistic medical alternatives if they want, for example they make marijuana illegal, but there is a chemically engineered "marinol pill" it is made up of a synthetic THC compound, the would rather you take this because they can buy stock in the pharmaceutical company that makes it, instead of you taking something that grew naturally from the ground, not chemically altered, not made in a lab, natural.
