Give us our right to choose, give us what we wish, the right to limit government interference and to demand it where and when we wish it. We are a people that has elected you to do our will, our mandate is clear, legalize Cannabis for taxation in state and private liquor stores for 21 year olds and up. Send the profits to rehabilitation programs for hard drugs and prescription medication. Use the money to also fund our interstate high speed rail system and monorail systems between states and municipalities over crowded with pollution creating vehicles. Let's be leaders, not followers. The Netherlands has already made huge steps, succeeding quite well in limiting gateway use of hard narcotics, and creating a safer democratic society in the process. Rethink your horrendous war on drugs, fire the drug czar, and let's expunge the marijuana possession cases and allow people with prior marijuana convictions to serve in the military. Stop taking money from lobbyists who have been hired by big beer, coffee, textile, and religious groups. Remember prohibition of alcohol? What happened back then has been happening with Cannabis for much longer. We have all been foolish, until now. Now we are in a crisis and see more clearly than ever that this is the right thing to do.
