While the bombing of the Boston Marathon was a horrible crime, the time has come for America to take a stand against the cycle of retributive violence that has plagued the world for far too long. We cannot let the rage, grief and fear of that day rule over us any longer. Healing will not come from meeting hate with hate. Let us truly work toward healing by refusing to meet violence with violence, and make a concrete move toward the peaceful ideal we all aspire to.
