Women’s health is something that has always been a concern around the world but when the Breast Cancer Foundation became a widely publicized foundation, with walks that raise money and sponsors such as the NFL, it truly made women’s health a larger concern to focus on. In addition to breast cancer awareness, Planned Parenthood cares for 1.2 million women, young and old, each year for a variety of services. If funding was cut this would affect these women by limiting the care they rely on.
