1,300 Feet Mandate For All Funeral Protests
The Issue
The Supreme Court ruled it was legal to protest during funeral services.
Remedy: This Act is known as the 1,300 Feet Mandate For all Funeral Protests, to be done two hours before and after services only.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."
(1) A funeral is a religious observance free exercise thereof which Our Constitution guaranteed peaceful accommodation being a religious act to bury one's dead-a ceremony in Reverence to God-which is the said service itself. Yelling obscenities, insulting signs, etc., known as funeral protests, during the commission of a funeral ceremony is not peaceful, in that it could easily erupt to violence due to high emotions of grieving. (2) The FUNERAL ceremony itself is private property paid for by the family. Defacing the funeral ceremony is no different than destroying private property and of great monetary and emotional value.*
Funeral protests accommodating freedom of speech issues combined with observing religious service rights, a.k.a., funeral, the following shall become Law: Funeral Protests illegal within (no less than) 1,300 feet from the property line of a house of worship, cemetery, mortuary, or other place, where funeral service is held. The United States of America citizens have a right to bury their dead in obvservance of one's Religion.
