The gift of reading is life long and rewarding only too many people around the world cannot access books on a regular basis or at all.  By signing this pledge one agrees to donate books or sponsor a book drive for those who are in need.  This action can be once a year or once alone.  Sharing knowledge is the foundation of education.

Most importantly think of the children.  Parents, read to your children and have them read to you.  Also people in developing nations have no access to age appropoate books.  One way for bookstore owners to help is to donate to places like hospitals, schools or libraries in places like Tanzania or Guyana.  Remote ares of the United States are in need as well so check locally for under-funded schools that might need help.
