Give Scotland its own identity and representative within the EBU

The Issue

The European Blues Union was set up by Thomas Ruf of Ruf Records, Jean Guillermo of Blues Sur Seine and Winne Penninckx of Naked Productions. Amongst other things the EBU hosts a European Blues Challenge where every member country can submit one act to participate. The EBU have decided to lump all four countries iof the UK together i.e. one membership = 1 act rather than as it should be separate identities for Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Wales 4 memberships = 4 acts. After discussions with Thomas Ruf, I decided to set up an online petition to rectify the position regarding Scotland, in theory this should mean that all 4 countries would benefit from a change in policy. The Blues scene in Scotland has always been a distinctly separate scene from that in England or the rest of the UK.
Too often Scotland's contributions are ignored or "lumped in " with the UK as a whole
