Recently, there was another car-crash on the Crooked Mile, leaving three people as walking wounded. Last February, there were also the tragic deaths of a young couple killed on the Crooked Mile in an accident.

The Crooked Mile is fast becoming an accident black-spot. The current unrestricted speed limit is wholly inappropriate. We urgently need a speed limit reduction and road safety measures, to help save motorists' lives.
