It is important because I’ve been locked up for 21 plus years as a NON VIOLENT FIRST time offender. At the time of my conviction, the courts were misinterpreting the law and sentenced me to life in prison. Then, a couple of years later, they retracted and they said they made a mistake; however, they didn’t fix everything they had done wrong. I have missed all my youth life; I missed out on helping raise my one and only beautiful daughter. I missed out on being able to tell the person who brought me up how much she meant to me. I didn’t get to hug her a final time. They took me away from my family, the most painful aspect of being locked away for more than the time I deserved. So here I am being confined at TAX PAYERS expense for a crime that the COURTS SAY THAT I DIDN’T VIOLATE FEDERAL LAW. Having said this, I am innocent, the courts know I am innocent, yet I am still behind bars. Please hear my plea and help release me.
