Ban the use of neonicotinoids to prevent further honey bee decline

Ban the use of neonicotinoids to prevent further honey bee decline

The Issue

More and more scientific studies (including some done by the USDA) have directly linked the decline in honey bees to the use of neonicotinoids on crops. If the bees disappear, the impact could have an enormous and potentially irreversible on our food supply, entire industries, our economy, etc. Some of these effects are already being felt not in only in the United States, but around the world. The impact that these pollinators have on our society is far larger than merely providing honey for us to eat. The usage of bee-killing commercial pesticides and herbicides must be stopped if we are to prevent further crisis.
