Sorry to tell you this guys, but here in Brazil a horrible thing happened that’s touching everyone via twitter and facebook. A nurse a  22 year old married a doctor living in Formosa Brazil, has beaten her dog (a Yorkshire) unitil death.! To make matter’s worse, her 3-year-old son watched everything. So, please, if you want this woman to be punished, singet up the petition.

I aim to make this fact known worldwide (So that the pressure will make the police work faster). So, please, if you want this woman to be punished, share this video with the people you know. The nurse is called Camilla Correa  Araujo dos Santos.

 

The dog was found in a poor state and died of its injuries two days later. The brutal attack was witnessed by a child, so she could also be charged under the Children's Act for 'exposing a child to shame or embarrassment, the maximum penalty for which is three years behind bars,' he added. The case is the latest in a number of incidents of animal cruelty in Brazil which have shocked the country in recent weeks. She originally handed it over to the local police, but posted it online after becoming frustrated that the authorities had not arrested de Moura and were not going to pursue the case. 

Now you know the acts and the evil, but our work is not finished. Something must be done. We need to urge the Brazilian government to obtain Camilla Corrêa  Araújo dos Santos  and sentence her to a very harsh trial for animal abuse.

I am sending you this message because I would like to ask for your support in seeking justice regarding a case of utter cruelty that has been highly publicized in Brazil over the last week, but from which, I am afraid, little will result if there is no significant outside pressure.
As a Brazilian citizen who is aware of the poorly drafted and/or poorly enforced laws in regards to human and animal rights in my country, I am sick of sitting back and hearing of horrendous incidents of cruelty that although reported and "investigated" do not render much more than a slap on the wrist of the perpetrators.
I think that Brazil needs to be shamed into action by nations. I think that an international outcry needs to happen so that our law makers wake up and realize that a civilized nation is more about rights regarding life, than mere economical figures.
The case outlined below is just one amongst countless others.
I warn you, the video is very graphic: not only is a defenseless Yorkshire Terrier being attacked and mercilessly killed by a 22 year old woman, the woman's toddler is also depicted witnessing much of the violence toward the fragile and innocent animal. I think that this child should not be in the care of this parent; however, not surprisingly, the officials "investigating" this case and the country's laughable laws, did not deem it necessary to remove the child from this abusive home.
