Enforce Federal Prison Industries Enhancement Certification Program (PIECP) Laws
The Issue
This program is allowing large corporations to utilize prisoners in manufacturing of their products. The PIE Program is being terribly abused by participating 38 state Prison Industries.
Federal oversight is provided by the National Correctional Industries Association (NCIA) that has a membership comprised of all state prison industries, managers and administrators.

Robert SloanPetition StarterI am active in prison reform and prison industries issues. I work as a free lance Prison Industries Consultant from my home in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have written many articles and conducted three (3) investigative reports about prison industries and the federal Prison Industries Enhancement Certification Program (PIE)
I am active in securing prosecution of those industries that violate the PIE program and use inmate labor in a manner that emulates legalized slavery.
