We lost another Muslim woman due to domestic abuse here in the US. The free US, the safe US from torture and other Human Rights violations. Khadija Mahel an immigrant from Morroco lost her life during an argument in her Brooklyn apartment with her husband in April. Her body was found last week near a cementary in Queens, NY. Not one Islamic leader has said a word. Not one statement to the Islamic media or main stream media. What a shame!

We are asking that our leaders denounce domestic abuse and the acts of violence like the murder of Khadija Mahel like they do other acts of violence in the media and in our Islamic communities. We would like to see statements to the media from the large organizations, well known Islamic leaders and community organizations.
