    1. Secretary General of the United Nations (His Excellency Ban Ki Moon)

His Excellency Ban Ki Moon Secretary General of the United Nations will hold a meeting with member states to discuss the recognition of full membership of the Palestinian state in the UN Assembly on 20 November 2011.  Please help us to present this petition to His Excellency before his meeting.

We appeal to the United Nations to recognize the full membership of the Palestinian state in the UN Assembly thereby ending the world's longest ongoing occupation. This will enable people in the region and all over the world to live in peace.

The UN was founded to prevent war, intervene in conflicts between nations and en-root peace. The UN has accomplished this goal in many places all over the world. WHY NOT PALESTINE TODAY?

Palestinians are ready to build partnerships in trade and commerce and socio-cultural activities. It is time for Palestinian farmers, business owners, laborers and employees to be able to go out about their business with a secure and open heart.

It is time for Palestinian mothers to feel that their children are safe and secure. To know when their children go about their normal daily activities such as going to school, playing, shopping or simply being at home that they are out of harms way. Just like every mother the world over, Palestinian mothers deserve and need to know that their children will arrive home safely, that they will not be kidnapped, wounded, killed or imprisoned just because they are Palestinian.

Let the world vote! The majorities of people everywhere and two-thirds of world leaders support Palestinian statehood. Palestinians have had over 60 years of occupation, repression and colonization. Decades of failed and fake peace talks.

The time has come for the UN to live up to the principles upon which it was founded. It is time to give the Palestinian people a sovereign, uncontested, independent state of their own. There is no other option.
