Not that it needs explanation, but to torture any animal is disgusting. To do so for prize money just shows us how inhuman humanity can be. While I'm sure these people are not bad people, the tradition they are building on has spiraled out of control to the point that it must be stopped. I urge anyone who has a conscience about this sort of thing, please sign this petition. To those who do not, it probably seems like an incidental concept; but think if it was being done to your children. Changes things a bit, doesn't it.
