End Taiji Slaughter of Dolphins

End Taiji Slaughter of Dolphins
The Issue
Dolphins should be wild to swim in the planets seas and oceans without fear of human interference.
The Japanese government Fisheries Agency last year issued 19,300 permits to kill dolphins, porpoise and small whales. In Taiji, South Japan between the 1st September to the end of March last year approximately 800 dolphins could be captured and either sold to a captivity program to perform tricks for human entertainment. They are also sold to swim with experiences both captivity practices prey on holiday makers as their ignorant customers.
The dolphins that are not selected for captivity are usually massacred in the Cove as filmed in the Cove Documentary in 2009.
