Bill  16 (aka) Hershey's Bill passed Committee Hearings on May 9th 2012 and needs to be brought forward to THIRD READING as soon as possible and passed. 

Ontario Canada is now under a travel advisory as one cannot now travel freely to or within Canada, if they have a dog that might be considered “suspect”. Dog owners can have their family K9 seized and killed without cause. Breed Ban Laws do NOT consider individual temperament or the highest level of responsible ownership; instead the law is based solely on K9 profiling. Education is the key to end ignorance.

We call for Ontario's pit bull ban  to be overturned and replaced with responsible legislation that promotes responsible ownership for all breeds, and places the blame where it clearly belongs, on irresponsible dog owners, animal abusers and those who participate in dog fighting or support it.

BSL (Breed Specific Legislation) simply does not work. It targets innocent dogs and their owners & does not address public safety.
