It is important because the unit where the Pittbulls are housed is cruel, and inhumane. The animals that are housed there are kept in a site without a/c during outrageously hot days. Furthermore, if an ordinary citizen were caught doing this to their dog, cat, or child - they'd be arrested - by the very same people who are doing this to our animals. And it's just plain wrong! It also reflects a double standard which demonstrates that the government who collects our tax dollars is guilty of abusing animals in the same way they accuse others - but, the government is getting away with it - and it must stop! The site must be destroyed immediately while a better and more humane site is created, and utilized to house Pittbulls while in the care of government authorities.
