Approximately 45 countries on all continents in the past five years have enabled some form of gendercide. "Female infanticide is the intentional killing of baby girls due to the preference for male babies and from the low value associated with the birth of females." (Marina Porras, "Female Infanticide and Feticide".)
Both China and India and many other places around the world are starting to acknowledge that gender selection is a crisis of epic proportions, one that has already seriously tilted the gender balance to favor males; however, the governmental laws to prohibit this practice in China and India have been ineffective.
This epic “disappearance” of girls in the last few decades is an underreported international scandal. Undisputed evidence exists that more than 100 million girls and women have been killed for the “crime” simply being born female since the 1970s and 1980s, and this serious problem is getting worse.
The United Nations in concert with other world organizations must address this heinous atrocity.
Recently one study estimated that as many as 500,000 unborn girls are killed each year in India due to gender selection, and an estimated 10 million unborn girls have been killed over the past 20 years based solely upon gender preference. Currently, India has the lowest gender ratio in the world due to this widespread gender selection process. Interestingly enough, India is perhaps the only civilization that worships God in woman-form, yet even religion fails to stop many people from killing their own daughters. Often female babies are murdered by suffocating them, by encouraging them to lick poison, or simply by not starving them in China and India.
We must, through the United Nations and other world health organizations, fight to eliminate this terrible human atrocity. By turning a blind eye, we are condoning this practice and sentencing millions of innocent female babies to death.
Please sign this petition demanding that the United States and the United Nations take action immediately to eradicate this malignant tumor on the body of humanity.

RE:Eliminate the silent murdering of female infanticide and feticide
Dear Decision Maker,
Eliminate the silent murdering spree in China, India, and in other countries where female infanticide and feticide is committed.
