EMA Party Pledge!

We promise to look out for ourselves and others, and we support festivals that implement both ecological and health harm reduction practices. We promise to respect the clubs, venues, and festival grounds we use, and to respect the staff that manages them. We understand that it is safe and responsible to go to onsite medical services for ourselves and all event patrons. We are committed to calling out behavior that promotes an unsafe or uncomfortable environment. We have zero tolerance for violence. We want our community to be safe, proud, and fun, and welcome in cities and venues worldwide!!

 Please help us show city and municipal governments that we are a culture that cares. By signing this party pledge, you demand that the Electronic Music Alliance (EMA) as a voice for our community, earn the support of individuals, clubs, and festivals to either sign this pledge or adopt a similar one.   If we fail to do our part in sticking up for ourselves, then the irresponsible actions of a few may very well affect the culture for us as all. This could lead to a struggle to keep our events in cities.

By signing this petition you are making a difference.  Your signature encourages the industry to adopt safer standards by letting them know it is important to you, and encourages EMA to promote the party pledge far and wide.

Electronic music has a tremendously positive affect that everyone in our scene understands. Help us share the vibrant, transformative, positive force that is overlooked by mainstream society when actions of a few damage our cultural image. You can do your part to keep our scene viable by simply pledging to take personal responsibility for your partying and encouraging others to do the same.
