It's clear that reform cannot wait and that Congress can no longer use the economy as a reason to delay action on this issue. We must pass immigration reform to strengthen our economy by helping workers, taxpayers, and honest employers and lift our country to prosperity.

Inaction is not an option. Doing nothing will allow this situation to grow worse, undermine the rule of law, and accelerate the cost to American taxpayers in billions of dollars for deportation and lost tax revenue. Immigration reform would be a step toward economic recovery and should be at the top of the agenda.
