Developmental screenings are necessary to promote early interventions for children, especially for those under the age of 6 who are experiencing developmental delays.  Early identification of developmental delays can help parents and caregivers provide much needed services for their children.  It can also teach guide them towards realistic expectations ensuring adequate care and appropriate learning opportunities are afforded in the future.
