How many times have you really had to go the bathroom, but realized you had an hour train ride ahead of you? Or, do you get tired of seeing all the trash on trains that riders leave behind. Sign this petition if you'd like to see SEPTA include bathrooms and trash receptacles on the next order of Regional Rail trains (Silverliner VIs). While other rail and transit authorities, such as Metra in the Chicagoland, and New Jersey Transit across the Delaware River include bathrooms and trash cans on their trains, SEPTA does not.

Bathrooms are a good idea because of the long trip times on certain SEPTA rail lines, the short hours of many outlying SEPTA ticket offices, and the amount of passengers who become ill on-board trains. Trash receptacles are a good idea because passengers currently have to take trash with them or simply discard their trash on the seats or floor of the rail car. This litter and dirt affects the quality of the ride for SEPTA passengers.
