In December of 2011 DuPage County Board Chairman Dan Cronin and the Board Members had the opportunity to do the right thing. If the majority of elected officials declined to submit form 6.93, IMRF would begin the process of removing any members of that governing body who are currently participating in IMRF.

Unfortunately the majority of elected officials submitted form 6.93 thereby allowing all board members to continue to collect pensions.

We request that DuPage County Chairman Dan Cronin and the Board Members put the question on the ballot for the General Election in November of 2012. Let the tax payers decide if they want their tax dollars funding these pensions and health benefits for part-time elected officials in DuPage County, Illinois.
