We are very disturbed and sad to learn that Mullivaikkal Monument is being destroyed by the Indian Police in Tamil Nadu. Mullivaikkal memorial was built and opened in Vilar area of Tanjavur in order to pay tribute to the Eelam Tamils who lost their lives in the final battle in 2009. 

As you well aware, UN already urge international independent investigations on war crimes and crimes against humanity committed by Sri Lankan government. UK Channel 4 released series of documentaries with evidence. Tamil Nadu government also passed two resolutions to get the Sri Lankan government to justice. 

Please take steps to protect this Monument and let the Tamils to remember the victims and fallen.
