We, the undersigned, believe Birth/ Labor Doula Services are a means to lower-cost, better-outcome Birth/ Maternity Care for women, infants, families and the United States of America.  We believe a Birth Doula should be available and affordable to all birthing families who would choose this service.  We believe the cost of hiring a doula should be payable or reimbursed through insurance or any other form of health care system.  We believe a comprehensive overhaul of the Healthcare System in the United States would include Doula Care for Birthing Women for its economic, physical, emotional and social benefits to all.
