Because remocrats have made it extremely clear that they’re determined to do whatever they can imagine to give more extremely larger tax cuts to the extremely rich, and richest corps. in the world, don't be afraid of raising taxes. Tragically, for years, conservatives have increased the national debt by lowering taxes and paying for wars by borrowing money, etc.. The wars and the tax cuts have raised our debt load to beyond the limit. Now, conservatives want to balance the budget by reducing spending on health, education and other government supports that are needed by the poor and the middle class, etc.; but, not by the wealthy. They also want to reduce spending on job creation and infrastructure repair - which the wealthy do not need. Don't balance the budget on the backs of working Americans. Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy must be allowed to expire, and no new ones allowed to be engineered. Then raise additional revenues in ways that are fair to all of our citizens, etc..
