Beavers have built a dam that has flooded a popular snowmobile trail in Littleton, NH. The selectboard just voted 2-1 in favor of allowing the beavers to be trapped and killed so the "problem" will be resolved. These are wild creatures upon whose natural habitat we have encroached. The killing of innocent wildlife for the sake of snowmobilers' fun is not a sensible or moral resolution.
