Imagine you're a child and your parents would tell you your music is gay, your music makes you gay and you need to stop listening to it. Imagine how you start to worry. You love your music, you're proud of your own taste - And now it makes you gay? You don't want to disappoint your parents, you don't want to do something bad..Do you have to decide between being yourself OR being loved by your parents? It's an impossible task. And if you actually are gay or unsure about your sexuality, things are a hundred times worse.

Can you picture how ashamed and scared you would feel? 

Yes? Now imagine this: Your parents don't only tell you it. Your parents take your CDs and BURN them. They make you watch, make you feel the heat and tell you you'll burn eternally as well if you listen to "gay music":God hates fags. God hates you. 

Sounds scary? Sounds like homophobia as it's worst? Sounds like mental child abuse (which is known to trigger suicide)? It is. Still, it's exactly what Donnie Davis tells parents to do on his website. (http://lovegodsway.org/GayBands)

With an increasing number of suicides by teenagers (and especially lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) teenagers), we should do everything we can to protect them - Not encourage bullying and hate!
