Dodge Journey's Defects
The Issue
We should expect more from our American Made car manufactures and Dodge has made a car with defects that they are fully aware of, the 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 car's all have defects with the breaking system, electrical system, steering issues and more. All of which costs each owner any where from $300 to $700 dollars each time these defects fail. Chrysler refuses to recall the Dodge Journeys even though they are fully aware of the problems and continued complaints.
Common Defects:
Brakes and rotors – wear out and lock up causing premature caliper and pad life span.
Electrical System – key fob components stop working. Windows stop working.
More importantly these Journeys’s are continued to be resold in used car dealers with the defects still in place, which is what happened in my case. These defects can leave owners stranded and could cause potential accidents due to a failure with the defects. Chrysler states they have "cars you want to drive" and that they want "To create the type of exciting, efficient, reliable, safe vehicles you expect and deserve." What we should expect is that the company stand by those statements and repairs any and all Dodge Journeys that they manufactured and sold with defects.
I ask any Dodge Journey owner and anyone who believes that car companies should fix defected components to their cars to please sign this Petition. These defects are defects that they are aware of and know that will fail; these are not normal wear and tear by drivers,
