The Hippocratic Oath is an oath historically taken by doctors swearing to practice medicine ethically,and  is considered a rite of passage for practitioners of medicine.

That being said you might as the question,why would a hospital fire 6 doctors and their staff without hesitation.

The administrator of Milford Hospital,300 Seaside Ave. in Milford, CT has decided to fire six doctors and their staff. The hospital mismanaged the billing and because of this the practice has lost money. Instead  of trying to find an answer to this problem the administrator decided to wash his hands of the whole thing.

In doing this there are now six very good doctors and their staff left without jobs, and their patients who have built relationships and trust them are now left with  not having the health care they're used to. Being that the health care system has run amok, and has left us to fen for ourselves you would hope to be able to depend on your hospital to not let you down.
