John Chevilott, worked for 23 years as a groundskeeper and while at work found a loaded handgun in the weeds. His supervisors were fully aware and Chevilott had their approval. He turned in the loaded firearm to the police-upon which he was commended for his actions, perhaps saving an innocent life and how is he thanked? He was FIRED by the Department of Public Services that he worked for, 2 years SHY of his retirement for "possession of a gun".
I'm just a concerned person who feels this gentleman was severely wronged and this is one that need be made RIGHT. Further, all of John's superiors that signed off on his termination need to be ashamed of themselves if not terminated.
