As I'm sure you're aware of, Republicans have made it very clear that their Party will oppose any national health plan and virtually all changes to improve healthcare.  Majority of Americans agree that costs are outrageous, and an overhaul is desperately needed.  Time has come for Democrats to stop trying for bipartisanship and pass legislation including coverage for everyone, lower costs, portability, elimination of "prior condition" rule, and a public care option to force private insurers to compete.  Please have the courage to enact healthcare reform before the end of 2009, even without Republican support.  Please, advocate for singlepayer healthcare, with CCA, Community Choice Act (for the handicapped, disabled, etc.); H.R. 676 & S. 703, are the best of the lot, so far; i.m.h.o..
