The signers of this petition collectively ask President Obama to hear our concerns as voters and citizens of the United States. Signers of this petition pledge to cast our votes to re-elect President Obama on November 6, even though we strongly oppose his administration's policies in support of non-renewable energy development.

This petition represents the collective voice of citizens of the United States who are gravely concerned about the detrimental impact that non-renewable energy has on the health of our nation. Domestic oil drilling, hydraulic gas drilling known as "fracking", "clean" coal and nuclear power all pose an imminent threat to the environment that endangers our children, our natural resources, and our future.

We support the Obama Administration's sustainable environmental policies including renewable energy, biofuels, clean tech, green business and stricter laws on chemicals.

This petition is a call to action for concerned citizens to cast their votes on November 6 to re-elect President Obama, and to stand together in opposition to all non-renewable energy policies, subsidies and funding. Oil, gas, coal and nuclear energy pollute the environment, poison our natural resources and expose our citizens to toxic chemicals.

These short-sighted policies are not a solution for economic problems that our country faces. The cost of cleaning up critically polluted water, air and land; and the cost of treating disease caused by these policies far outweigh any economic benefit.

This petition serves as a mandate for change. In casting our votes, we re-elect President Obama with a call to action to put the health and safety of our citizens, our country and our future first.
