The initial Change.org top 2 questions were summarily dismissed by a chuckling president Obama at the now infamous town hall meeting. We demand to know why and what happened to those issues. The people behind those emails still exist and would like to know where the funny part was in a failed economy, failed drug war and failed system of economic regulation. Obviously nothing is improving so we feel this option must be revisited in a more serious manner befitting of the commander in chief.
Change.org and it's "selection process"
Dear Representative
There is substantial evidence, that many americans voted for Marijuana reform. As we all know this will pave the way in creating jobs, easing suffering, getting superfluous prescription meds off the street and economically give a great boost to our nations economy when we need it most. Just the other day president Obama reassured us that layoffs were "likely to continue". He can be seen laughing uncomfortably at the infamous town hall meeting where the results of HIS website were read to the nation. One simple question I ask myself every day after reading the headlines is "How much worse does it have to get?" I'd like to know exactly what happened on that special day when we did exactly what we were asked as a country, we united around several important issues, and the commander in chief laughed it off and simply said "no". No reasons were ever given either, just a simple no, that sounds like something a parent would tell a child, not the president making a valid point to his constituents. It seems these other feel good causes with pictures of polar bears and children can have all the votes they want, but what happend to the other ones Mr. President? Isn't it time we worried about bigger things than some 80 year old culture war that creates no winners, no progress but all casualties?
