Willoughby, Ohio: In November, an Ohio family received the saddest possible news about Thai, their pet dog. When Thai did not return after being let outside, the family searched for her in the dark. But it wasn’t until the next morning that the senior black Labrador retriever was found. Thai had been shot 3 times and killed. Three slugs from a .22 caliber Ruger were found at the scene.

A neighbor, 26 year-old Brent S. Parker, was arrested and charged with killing an animal, a misdemeanor of the first degree, and with discharging a firearm, a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. Parkers next court date is set for 9:00 a.m. on December 28, 2011 at the Willoughby Municipal Court.

Please show your support of the family that lost their dog by signing this petition. Thai would have turned 14 years old this month. She posed a threat to no one. And no one should be allowed to ruthlessly kill a neighbors dog.

This petition respectfully requests that Brent S. Parker, the man that allegedly shot and killed his neighbors dog, be given the maximum sentence allowable under law.
