In the County of Lamar - Paris, Texas, The case of Bobby Yates and at least twenty other cases handled by Lamar County Attorney Gary Young, are in need of in depth investigations by the United States Department of Justice. Lamar County Attorney Gary Young's thirst for convictions by any means necessary results in wrongful convictions, excessive sentences, and alarming rates of juveniles tried as adults. In The Case of disabled, Bobby Yates (currently age 51), an indictment was secured for Sexual Assault of A Child. Because of a hunting accident, twenty (20) years ago Mr. Yates' lower body was amputated and he also underwent a penectomy (removal of the penis). Penectomy's result in NO sexual desires. Bobby has been charged with Sexual Assault (using his fingers), of a Child and he is innocent. On September 22, 2008 Yates was arrested and charged. Even though he called 911 for help, the police reports state that the the 16 year old white child called 911. The 911 tapes tell the true story. The tape however does mention that the female was so high on drugs that her speech was slurred. To secure an indictment, a photo of Bobby Yates was taken to make it appear as though he was not handicapped - confined to a wheelchair with a lower body amputation. His height was omitted and there was no explanation of not having lower limbs. This is yet an additional attempt of Lamar County Attorney to secure a conviction by any means necessary.

Investigate the Attempted Unlawful Incarceration Of Bobby Yates

WE the undersigned, are requesting an immediate investigation into The State of Texas vs. Bobby Yates. Indictment No. 22849. We additionally request that over twenty cases handled by Lamar County Attorney Gary Young are investigated for excessive sentencing, juveniles tried as adults and wrongful convictions.

Evidence shows that Mr. Yates could not have possibly assaulted the 16 year old as charged and the police report has been changed to exclude the facts of the existing 911 tape. Bobby Yates' lower body was amputated approximately 20 years ago. Mr. Yates also underwent a Penectomy - (removal of his penis).

An Attempted Aggravated Assault charge was added and not included in the indictment. In Indictment photo's Yates appears to be standing. (He has no legs). His height was not given to the grand jury.

In a call to 911, he told the operator that three people were in his home threatening his life and he was afraid of them, they would not leave. He said one of the three assaulted him by beating him in his face. Mr. Yates can be heard on the 911 call telling the group to "get out of his home and not to come near him". The female claimed Mr. Yates touched her vagina even though the two white men were in the same room with her. Mr. Yates is accused of sexual assault by using his fingers. Mr. Yates has no sexual desires following the lower body amputation and removal of his penis.

Mr Yates' court appointed attorney refused to hire an expert medical witness to attest to his medical conditions. The court appointed attorney also tried to convince Mr. Yates to take a plea deal -- knowing that he is innocent.

Your urgent investigation into Mr. Bobby Yates and the many wrongful convictions, excessive sentences and juveniles tried as adults in Lamar County Texas is immediately needed. Please assist Mr. Yates and avoid yet another wrongful conviction in Paris, Texas.
