Fans continually pay the burden to support local sports franchises.  More and more, the target audience/local tax payer base of these franchises are becoming alienated due to the business tactics that force lockouts, franchise moves and more recently, local television freeze outs due to regional sports network contract disputes.  It is time for the consumer/taxpayer/fan's voice to be heard loud and clear over that of corporate America!
