-----------

Bicycle riders living in the Peninsula Community area of San Diego do not have a location in their community to legally ride their bicycles off-road.

The San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) currently owns the land near the corner of Nimitz Boulevard and Formosa Boulevard (known as Site 428). The SDHC has a long-term proposal to develop affordable housing on this property.

We are requesting the SDHC transfer the ownership of Site 428 to the City of San Diego for the purpose of creating a community bicycle park. The proposed bicycle park will be open to community members of all ages and ability levels.
