Don't allow pets to be given away "free" to a good home!!!!!!

So many animals are being given away free and don't end up in good homes. If someone wants to be a REAL pet owner they wouldn’t have a problem paying, even 5$ for the pet. There is an epidemic right now with dog fighting and sickos who get these animals for free and then do horrible things to them. However, they aren’t going to pay, even $5 for something they’re going to abuse or kill.

Again, if someone is sincerely willing to rescue an animal they'd be willing to find a way to pay a reasonable fee or donation. We need craigslist.org to be more diligent about making sure some poor, helpless animal isn't going to be abused, tortured or worse, MURDERED. PLEASE SIGN AND PASS ON!
