If Cosmo is for adults, and not minors; then it should be sold ONLY to adults. I understand they have a right to free speech and to print what they want, however it is a crime to market graphic sex tips to underage kids.

Because it's the #1 best-selling women's magazine, it's easily available to young boys and girls at any age. Through my website, www.projectinspired.com, I have received hundreds of supportive comments and emails from girls as young as 11. They write me letters detailing how they've tried the sexual tips written about in Cosmo, only to get their hearts broken, or worse — getting pregnant or catching an STD.

This publication has steadily declined into a full-on pornographic "how to" guide for teens and vulnerable young girls. Every issue dares girls and encourages them to try new sex moves (including anal sex), engage in threesomes, experient with lesbianism, have public sex, watch porn, (with specific URLS listed- October 2011 issue.) and using sex toys such as dildos, shower heads, and vibrating tongue rings to "please your man and stimulate your clitoris."This readily available magazine has become one of the media’s worst influences on girls.

Join me in my fight to get Cosmopolitan sold in a nontransparent plastic bag where it's made available to adults 18 and older and our youth won't be subjected to this vulgar material. Let me reiterate my goal: That no one under the age of 18 sees the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine on newsstands or at their grocery stores, and that no one under 18 can legally buy Cosmopolitan magazine.

I have contacted the Chairman of the FTC, John Leibowitz and received a letter from his office stating they will look into the issue and start an investigation ONLY when they feel it's a 'threat' to society. This means they need more COMPLAINTS — that is, signers of this petition.

I have also contacted Kate White, the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine and I didn't get a reply. No surprise there!

I recently mailed a letter to the Senator of California alerting her of the obscene sexual material in this magazine.

Now, we're going to hit them in the pocketbook. Maybe she'll pay attention to us if her advertisers recognize that it's not very cool to have your ad next to an article urging women to engage in threesomes and anal sex.

Please join me in my fight to get Cosmopolitan put in a nontransparent plastic bag and sold ONLY to those who are 18 and over by signing this petition. Together we can contact the magazine's biggest advertisers and the FTC chairman.

More voices mean faster action to protect our young girls from this obscene magazine!

Sincerely,

Cosmopolitan is Illegally Targeting Minors With Graphic Sex Tips-If It's For Adults, Then Make It So

Dear Secretary of the FTC Donald Clark, Senator Dianne Feinstein, and Media Buyers,

I'm writing you today to inform you that Cosmopolitan magazine is aggressively targeting underage girls and daring them to try pornographic sex tips in each issue that is meant only for adults.
<br><br>
As the #1 selling women's magazine in the US, its explicit, graphic, pornographic sexual material is readily available for young boys and girls to consume. The Former Editor-in-Chief of Cosmo Bonnie Fuller; openly admitted "millions of underage girls read it every month, with no incident." At my website www.projectinspired.com I have received hundreds of supportive comments and emails from girls as young as 11. They write me letters detailing how they've tried the sexual tips written about in Cosmo, only to get their hearts broken, or worse — getting pregnant or catching an STD.

This publication has steadily declined into a full-on pornographic "how to" guide for teens and vulnerable young girls. Every issue dares girls and encourages them to try new sex moves (including anally), engage in threesomes, experiment with lesbianism, have public sex, watch porn, (with specific URLS listed!) and using sex toys such as dildos, shower heads, and vibrating tongue rings to "please your man and stimulate your clitoris."

This readily available magazine has become one of the media’s worst influences on girls.
<br><br>
Mr Clark and Ms. Feinstein, you can make a difference by creating legislation that would force Cosmopolitan magazine to 'cover up' and only be sold in a nontransparent plastic bag where it's made available to adults 18 and older so our youth won't be subjected to this vulgar and dangerous material.
<br><br>
Media buyers, you can influence Cosmo's choice of content by refusing to advertise alongside such vulgar, explicit material.
<br><br>
Sign this petition to put an END to Cosmo's SICK tips ready for kids to buy, and to put their porn magazine in a bag where it belongs for good!

Sincerely,
