In remembrance of Stephon Watts, who suffered a tragic death Feb. 1st 2012 in Calumet City IL, we ask you for support during this tragedy. 

Stephon suffered from Asperger’s Syndrome, a type of autism, and was shot and killed by Calumet Police at the age of 15 during an incident at home. His death was an injustice and police had no reason to shoot the teenager. This story has been told in years pass, with other Americans suffering with autism and being killed by the people here to protect and serve US! This must stop here! We need to send a clear message to our police force to make educated decisions and protect to people we want to get help. Being autistic is not a crime!

Two months later our family have yet to get any information on this case. Calumet City have protected the two officers who killed Stephon; not even allowing our family access to ANY police reports and not telling us the names of the officers that killed our child. In our pain we ask for answers and justice to be served.
