You can easily conserve energy within your house by installing flourescent light bulbs, turning off the lights when leaving a room, attaching electronics to a power bar with a timer to reduce phantom loads, buying more energy effecient appliances or just by turning off electronics/appliances when not in use. Doing all these things will make a big difference in your energy consumption and in your energy bill. This will also set a good example for your neighbours, family and friends.
