Legalization of marijuana for recreational use and hemp for industrial use
The Issue
- Hemp plastics are lighter than steel yet could withstand 10x the impact without denting
- Hemp is the strongest soft natural fiber known to man
- Clothes from hemp are UV protected, anti-bacterial and very strong
- Clothes made from hemp are 3x stronger, 4x warmer, and 7x more durable and flame retardant than cotton clothes
- Hemp is made up of 85% cellulose which is used to make paper; trees are only 30% cellulose
- Hemp paper lasts much longer and doesn’t yellow over time
- One acre of hemp can produce as much paper as 4-10 acres of trees over a 20 year cycle
- Consuming hemp seeds actually enlarges and clears out the arteries
- Hemp can be made into “hempcrete” which can absorb water and not crack like concrete, takes less energy to make, and can last thousands of years unlike concrete that lasts around 40 on average
- Hemp seed oil can be used as a biodiesel fuel source
- Cannabis has neuroprotectant qualities to it and has been shown to help brain growth, it’s a myth that it kills brain cells
- Cannabis may actually protect the lungs from carcinogenic affects of tobacco
- No one has ever died from consuming cannabis
- Cannabis has been used medicinally for over 4,000 years
- Government claims cannabis has no medicinal use howevermedicines such as Marinol and Sativex are used from cannabis
- Smoking marijuana does not cause lung cancer
- 50% of medicine marketed in last half of 19th century was made from cannabis
- Queen Victoria used the resin extract from cannabis for her menstrual cramps

Cannabinoid receptor CB2 deals with the Immune system in that it delivers messages it would never receive unless cannabis was present
